403.

403 (Week 11)
This has been my 11th week as an intern and while March is still away, I already have my thoughts on what happens after this. On my first week in internship, our department head actually asked me if I were to extend my internship for until my preparations for graduation start. I told her that I wasn't sure, but after a bit of contemplating, I did realize that may it be a simple question, it has myself asking, "What am I to do after this internship?"

Unlike before, where I still wasn't a "candidate" for graduation, if we have completed all the exams or we were just waiting for the exams and classes are now haulted, all we do is roam around, go to malls, watch movies and do fun things to waste time. But now that I am really (because my name was already on the list of candidates for graduation) going to graduate soon, what should I do next? And so, I would like to share a few of my plans while I wait for the graduation itself!

Plan A: I shall extend my internship if my supervisor/school/schedule permits me. If not, or maybe if I did, this will lead to...

Plan B: Send my resume to companies. Isn't it a good choice? One foreigner from Nestle Indonesia went to CF for bench marking and I was able to have a conversation with him, he told me that even before my graduation, I should try applying for the companies that I want to be a part of, so that right away after graduation, I would be hired, or I already have potential companies to apply for.

Plan C: Since I have savings from the allowance I earned from my internship, I think that it would be best if I invest it in a business. Online business would be good, right?

That wasn't a lot of plans, honestly, but I guess they are the most productive that I could think of. Actually, thinking of graduation is both a frightening and exciting idea. Exciting in a way that, I could still remember, when I graduated from highschool, I gave a letter to my parents and told them how excited I was to be a college student, and now I am here going to graduate soon. Honestly, thinking about it makes me tear up, because I can finally build the dreams that I only had in my mind, and never had told my parents about, or even anyone. Frightening, in a way that I think I wasn't ready to face the real world of adults. I know that internship is a training ground for us to see this world, but when the time comes that we are no longer in training, but in the real setting and real everything itself, will I be ready? Am I mature enough for this? Was my experience enough for this work I will be in? Ha. See, it is tiring to think of.
